NOT RECOMMENDED
Normally, this is where I’d say, “We’re passionate travelers who thrive on discovering unique destinations, and our blog is where we share those adventures with you through thoughtfully curated city guides. Join us as we virtually explore Dubai.” But because we are gay—and that is not accepted in Dubai—we cannot, in good conscience, recommend that you actually visit.
Our 1-, 3-, and 5-day itineraries for Dubai are filled with must-see attractions, unforgettable activities, and top-notch dining recommendations. They include helpful details like budgeting tips and precise addresses to make exploring effortless. However, we believe you deserve more than a destination that criminalizes who you are or whom you love.
There are countless other incredible places on this planet where you and your loved ones will be treated with dignity and respect.
Take a look at our guide to Dubai for inspiration, but then consider choosing another destination for your next unforgettable journey.
OK, look, I have itineraries—I was going to post them—but I just cannot bring myself to do it. This is not a place we can recommend you visit—even if it is one of the top ten places the world visits. If you are LGBTQ+ or an ally, you cannot support these places—you just cannot. It is like being a Log Cabin Republican—it just does not make sense. What it shows is your profound ignorance if you support places, people, causes, organizations, or businesses that seek to silence or criminalize others - for just existing.
